West Ham continue to push for the services of Brazil star Felipe Anderson from Lazio and the winger’s wage demands have been revealed.
Football.London state that although Anderson will not become the highest earner at the London Stadium, the wages he is demanding will put him in the bracket of the club’s top earners.
Anderson, currently on a £48k-a-week deal with the fifth-placed Serie A side, is seeking to increase his earnings to £80k-a-week with a transfer to West Ham – putting him £50k behind Javier Hernandez, the Hammers’ highest earner.
The Brazil ace will also sit behind Marko Arnautovic, £100k-a-week, and Andy Carroll, £90k-a-week, in the club’s payment hierarchy, slightly ahead of veteran defender Pablo Zabaleta on £75k-a-week.
That figure is an affordable amount for the Hammers, as they seek to adhere to strict Financial Fair Play regulations, and is a fraction of the reported £190k-a-week deal that Paris Saint-Germain midfielder Javier Pastore is reportedly eyeing as he seeks an exit from the French champions.
