Jack Collison can’t wait to face Chelsea at Stamford Bridge this afternoon and is hoping for another match winning performance.

Allardyce’s side are looking for their first double over Chelsea and their first win at Stamford Bridge for ten years after their 3-1 triumph at Upton Park in December.

And Collison admits he and his team mates are ready for on of their biggest tests of the season so far and are confident of building on the 1-0 win at Stoke two weeks ago.

He told whufc.com: “I think we’ve got to push on, especially after a good result in our last game.

“We’ve had a little bit of break since then and we’ve done some good training so, come Sunday, we’ll be ready and raring to go. Chelsea are obviously a great side and we know it’s going to be a tough game, but I thought our lads were magnificent in the game against them at Upton Park.

“We got a great result that day and it gives us confidence going into Sunday.”

The midfielder is also confident the Hammers can finish as high up the table as possible as we approach the final stretch of the season.

“It’s a little bit of a funny position,” he continued.

“There are teams below us who can catch us, but there are teams above us who can we can catch and go past. We’re just taking it game-by-game. We’ve got our targets and if we achieve them we’ll be in a good position at the end of the season.”
