West Ham remain in the market as Manuel Pellegrini’s continues his spending spree, with another central midfielder targeted.
The Hammers have added England international Jack Wilshere to their ranks on a free transfer, following the expiration of his contract at Arsenal, but are looking to further their depth in the middle of the park.
Amongst those being heavily linked with a move to the London Stadium is Juventus midfielder Stefano Sturaro, also a target for Leicester, and his agent has discussed a potential switch.
Speaking to JuveNews.eu, Carlo Volpi said:
“In football, anything can happen, because there are plenty of offers.”
“Not only from West Ham and Leicester, but at least four other clubs are interested in my client, who doesn’t have a favourite destination. I’m just waiting on a decision from Juventus.”
Interest in Sturaro comes amidst continued speculation that Pedro Obiang will move to Sampdoria, despite Pellegrini wanting to keep the Spain midfielder in his squad.
