Finally West Ham return to Premier League action this evening, with the visit of Newcastle posing an opportunity to register our first home win of the season.

We were superb against Liverpool two weeks ago, coming away with a 3-0 win and our first positive result up there for 52 years. But it’s our home form that needs work – starting with tonight.

By bringing in four new faces on deadline day, Slaven Bilic now has the strength in depth to have something of a selection dilemma, which is always nice for a manager to have.

The big question will be whether he names an unchanged side from the one that impressed in the win over Liverpool, or does he hand a couple of the new signings a start straight away.

One big positive is of course the return of Andy Carroll to the matchday squad. No doubt we’ll see him at some point this evening, and I wouldn’t put it past him to mark his long-awaited comeback with a goal against his hometown club.

So make sure you keep up to date with all the action from the Boleyn Ground via FootballFanCast’s Live Blog, in association with 888 Sport.

Come on you Irons!
