For me, Danny Ings is the most exciting Championship based striker we’ve been linked with this season. Ross McCormack of Leeds and Jordan Rhodes of Blackburn would also be decent partners for Carroll, but Ings would be my pick. That said, with Burnley winning promotion to the top-flight, the likelihood of them wanted to sell Ings in the summer has decreased significantly.
