Cheikyou Kouyate
What a player we have on our hands here. The Senegalese midfielder can run with the ball, pass the ball, win the ball and just about anything else you want a footballer to do with a ball. His performance against Spurs was a Man of the Match performance and, according to the man himself, he’s not even 100% fit yet. When he is, I think he has the potential to become a fan favourite and, dare I say it, an early contender for Hammer of the Year.

CK: “As soon as I’m at 100 per cent I’ll really be able to give more. Not bad, I know, but I’m certain that I can do better still.”

Yep, apparently he gets better! Blimey. Oh, and did I mention he can pass the ball? He was one of the main reasons why we were so good on the floor on Saturday…
Of the players to make 30+ passes this weekend in the Premier League, West Ham’s Cheikhou Kouyate had the highest pass accuracy (97%). #whu
