Much has been made about the importance of having two iconic kits for the 16/17 season.

Next season’s kits are the most anticipated in years as we all look forward to a new era in the Olympic Stadium, coupled with a new club crest.

Earlier this week an image of our supposed 16/17 home shirt was doing the rounds, and was met by mixed reviews.

Some were relatively pleased with the design (including us here at West Ham World), while others were clearly unimpressed.

But now there’s a leaked image of what looks like a pretty legit looking 16/17 away shirt – and it’s white.

Not only is it white, it’s pretty bland and uninspiring…

It’s not awful, but I think we were all expecting something a little bit more classy – something iconic and a throwback to a historic away strip of old.

We’ll just have to wait and see if these images are real or the club and Umbro have something completely different up their sleeves.

What do you think of the 16/17 away shirt? Let us know in the comments below…
