Since the beginning of the season West Ham has been linked with a January move for a total of seventeen players.
It’s been no secret that we are in desperate need of reinforcements as we head in to 2014. It was bad enough having to deal without record-signing Andy Carroll for so long, but the recent injuries suffered by the only three centre-backs at the club means we are even more desperate to strengthen in the January transfer window.
But we all know from experience that West Ham’s transfer history doesn’t particularly coincide with the players they are linked with ahead of transfer windows. Some rumours have no truth in them whatsoever, while others give us an element of excitement before leaving us disappointed that nothing ever came of them.
So with the January transfer window opening tomorrow, here are the 17 players we’ve been linked with so far this season…
