West Ham are preparing to take on Altona 93 today in our penultimate pre-season friendly.
With the kick-off at 17:30, Altona 93 will be the final match in Germany for the Hammers before we jet off to Iceland for a pre-season friendly against Manchester City.
These two games will wrap up our pre-season preparations and this will be the last chance for players to impress Slaven Bilic before he selects his first Premier League starting XI against Manchester United in a couple of weeks.
Our starting XI for the Altona 93 clash is as follows.
Adrian; Zabaleta, Reid, Ogbonna, Cresswell; Fernandes, Obiang; Snodgrass, Ayew, Arnautovic; Martinez.
With Chicharito on the bench, many fans are excited to see him come on for his debut.
Some fans questioned the selection of Robert Snodgrass, who is surely fighting for his place in the squad after a lacklustre pre-season compounded his miserable start to life at West Ham.
Others were worried about Manuel Lanzini’s absence; with just two weeks left until the start of the season, the Argentinian star is not being risked due to a slight injury.
