West Ham’s summer spending set to exceed £100m

West Ham have been very active on the transfer market this summer and deals show no signs of stopping.
The Hammers have splashed £22m to bring Issa Diop in from Toulouse and spent a further £7m signing Lukasz Fabianski from recently relegated Swansea, while also landing Jack Wilshere and Ryan Fredericks on free transfers.
Manuel Pellegrini’s spending spree shows no signs of stopping though, with the Hammers widely-reported to be edging towards the captures of Felipe Anderson, Andriy Yarmolenko and Fabian Balbuena.
Claret & Hugh state those deals will take West Ham’s summer spending beyond the £100m mark, with Anderson set to cost around £40m and Yarmolenko’s arrival coming in at a reported £17.5m.
That would take West Ham’s spending to £86.5m before a deal for Balbuena, costing a reported £3.5m, sees the Hammers reach the £90m mark – and the agent fees for Fredericks and Wilshere take the figure into £100m.
However, outgoing deals are set to go ahead and West Ham’s net spend is expected to end up at around £75m.
