West Ham’s revival under Nuno Espírito Santo continued at the weekend, with the Hammers extending their impressive run to just one defeat in six Premier League matches.
Sunday’s 1–1 draw away at Brighton — sealed by Jarrod Bowen before a late Georginio Rutter equaliser — showed further progress, even if it should have been all three points.
Despite the upturn, West Ham remain 18th in the table, and with January fast approaching, major decisions are being made on both incomings and outgoings.
One big call now appears to have been made regarding a high-profile summer signing.
West Ham Willing to Sell Kilman

West Ham are reportedly ready to cash in on defender Maximilian Kilman, just six months after his high-profile arrival.
The centre-back was part of the club’s expensive 2024 intake, a £145m overhaul that delivered mixed results. While the likes of Crysencio Summerville and Jean-Clair Todibo have impressed, Kilman’s impact has been far less convincing.
Signed for £40 million, the former Wolves man has struggled for consistency, losing his spot before being recalled for the draw at Brighton. He has also been the subject of various links — including reports of interest from Crystal Palace.
However, Claret and Hugh report that Palace’s alleged pursuit has been dismissed by a transfer source close to the club.
The same insider did, however, provide a revealing update about West Ham’s stance: “If a club came in for Kilman with just £25 million, they’d snap their hands off.”
Kilman — once described as “outstanding” by former Wolves teammate Conor Coady — appears no longer in West Ham’s long-term plans. Despite having worked with him at Wolves, Nuno Espírito Santo is said to be unconvinced, especially compared to Tinos Mavropanos and the rejuvenated Todibo.
It now seems West Ham are prepared to take a substantial financial hit to move him on in January. Selhurst Park may not be his destination, but a mid-season exit is looking increasingly likely.
