According to The Daily Mail, West Ham United will axe Alvaro Arbeloa this summer.
Alvaro Arbeloa arrived as a free transfer on deadline day last summer but has failed to make an impact this season.
With many believing that the experienced Spaniard was the solution to West Ham’s longstanding right back problem, Arbeloa has proved to be a flop at The London Stadium.
The former Champions League and World Cup winner has only managed four appearances all season with his last outing in claret and blue coming as a substitute in early December.
Bilic has been reluctant to use Arbeloa, even opting to play other players out of position, such as Michail Antonio, Havard Nordtveit and Cheikhou Kouyate.
The former Spain international is now set to leave West Ham when his contract expires at the end of the season.
West Ham, as expected, will not offer him a new deal and he will be available to sign for another club ahead of the 2017/18 campaign.
Premier League outfit Swansea City are reportedly keen on snapping up the 34-year-old if they survive the drop this season.
