After 21-year-old Nathan Holland posted on Twitter, the cries for him to get a place in the first team continued from a number of West Ham United fans.
Holland has made nine appearances for the club’s U23 side in the Premier League 2 this season. The left-midfielder has also represented England at U19’s level.
This isn’t anything new, as most fans already know what Holland can do, leaving many confused as to why he continues to miss out on first-team football.

The Englishman has scored six goals across nine U23’s games, while also managing to bag himself four assists.
The biggest issue for Manuel Pellegrini has to be where to play the 21-year-old, as dropping someone like Felipe Anderson or Robert Snodgrass is unlikely to happen. Perhaps he could be used as the strike partner for an isolated Sebastien Haller.
Luckily for the youngster, many contracts are running out, which means Holland could help the club save some of the transfer funds by taking up one of the then-expired spots in the summer.
