According to reports in Spain, West Ham United are one of three Premier League sides vying to sign Barcelona wonder kid Munir El Haddadi.
Spanish media outlet Sport (reported via Sport Witness) believe that West Ham United, Southampton and Crystal Palace are all ready to launch a bid for Munir.
Barcelona are willing to sell the starlet and this has alerted this trio of Premier League sides.
West Ham, Southampton and Crystal Palace are all preparing bids of between €8m and €10m for the young attacker, who can play as a winger, attacking midfielder or as a striker.
However, Barcelona are looking for a figure in the region of €14m instead.
Zenit St Petersburg have already matched Barcelona’s asking price but Munir does not want to move to Russia.
This has given encouragement to West Ham, Southampton and Crystal Palace, as well as Bundesliga side Schalke as they all aim to bolster their attacking options.
The Hammers are desperate for new attacking players with Michail Antonio ending up as the top goal scorer in the Premier League last season for West Ham with just nine strikes.
West Ham want Munir after the 21-year-old showed promise on loan at Valencia last season.
With Barcelona willing to sell him, it is up to the Irons to beat off competition from Southampton and Crystal Palace to land the once-capped Spanish international.
