West Ham are expected to announce the capture of highly-rated former Chelsea wonderkid Domingos Quina today, according to MirrorFootball.

The 16-year-old is regarded as one of the brightest prospects to come out of Portugal in recent years and is expected to become a regular full international in the future.

MirrorFootball claim the Hammers have managed to beat Arsenal, Tottenham and Manchester United to the youngster’s signature, who quit Chelsea because he was worried there would not be enough opportunities to break in to the first-team.

However, with our incredible record of bringing through youngsters and the fact our youth academy is world famous for producing some of the world’s best players, Quina clearly believes he would be far better off in claret and blue.

The club are reportedly expected to announce Quina’s signing today – the youngster is a skilful attacking midfielder who is most comfortable in the number 10 role.

This signing comes just 24 hours after the club announced the signing of Valencia wonderkid Toni Martinez, who had caught the eye of Slaven Bilic after scoring 100 goals in four seasons for the Mestalla’s youth side.
