West Ham progressed into the last 64 of the FIFA Ultimate Quaran-Team Cup after dispatching AFC Wimbledon 2-0. 

The 128-team competition was created by Leyton Orient to fill the absence of regular football amid the global outbreak of COVID-19.

For the Hammers, eSports player Jamie ‘Jamboo’ Rigden represented the club and he certainly delivered on expectations after a routine victory sent him through against Wimbledon.

The initiative was started by the O’s to bring everyone together in a time of need of modern football.

The competition is being played on PS4, with results settled on just one match-up – even if extra-time and penalties are required.

And it’s all for an excellent cause. The link to the donation page can be found here, all to raise money for clubs who are going to struggle financially in the EFL amid the COVID-19 outbreak.
