West Ham United have been linked with a number of strikers this summer but look set to lose one rather than sign one.
According to Sky Sports News HQ, Tigres are on the brink of completing a deal to bring Enner Valencia to the club.
Tigres currently play in the Liga MX, which is the top division in Mexican football.
They have agreed a transfer fee with West Ham United to bring Enner Valencia back to Mexico and this deal looks likely to be completed soon.
The Irons signed Valencia from Liga MX side Pachuca in summer 2014 following his fine performances in the World Cup.
The Ecuadorian international has struggled to make much of an impact for the Hammers over the past three years and spent the entirety of last season on loan at Everton.
The Toffees had an option to buy him on a permanent basis but they decided not to take that up.
Valencia only netted eight Premier League goals for West Ham in 54 matches.
Therefore, West Ham have been trying to flop Valencia elsewhere.
West Ham look to have found suitors for the 27-year-old back in Mexico as Tigres close in on a deal.
The transfer fee is believed to be between £6m and £7m.
