West Ham United’s struggles at both ends of the pitch continue to mount.

A late Raul Jimenez strike condemned them to a 1–0 defeat against Fulham over the weekend, extending their winless run to seven games and leaving Nuno Espírito Santo’s side rooted in 18th place.

Goals have been in short supply, and defensive frailties persist, compounding the club’s relegation worries.

With Niclas Füllkrug set to leave for AC Milan in January, the urgency to bring in a proven centre-forward has never been greater.

The Hammers are actively exploring options to bolster their attack — and a new opportunity has emerged thanks to a Premier League rival stepping aside.

West Ham now appear to have a clearer path to securing Wolverhampton Wanderers striker Jorgen Strand Larsen.

The Norway international, 25, has been heavily linked with a January switch as several clubs, including Everton, were reported to be monitoring him.

According to thehardtackle.com, Everton have decided not to pursue the Dane during the winter window.

Strand Larsen, once described as “superb” by Alan Shearer, could now be a realistic target for the Hammers, offering a rare chance to add a striker with Premier League experience at a critical time in the season.

For Strand Larsen, a move to East London represents a better chance of staying in the top flight, with Wolves struggling at the bottom of the table.

West Ham could benefit from a player highly motivated to help them avoid relegation, potentially turning what has been a difficult campaign into a lifeline for both player and club.

If West Ham can act quickly, Strand Larsen could provide the firepower they desperately need — a mix of Premier League know-how and hunger to perform under pressure — making him a potentially transformative addition in January.
