As reported on Twitter by @EXWHUEMPLOYEE, West Ham are in negotiations to sign Leicester City Striker Islam Slimani on loan until the end of the season. Whether the deal includes a future purchase fee is still to be confirmed.
Leicester City have already let Leo Ulloa rejoin Brighton on loan while Ahmed Musa has returned to CSKA Moscow on loan and Riyad Mahrez has submitted a transfer request to push through a deal to sign for Man City. The Foxes could leave themselves very thin up front with former West Ham target Kelechi Iheanacho, new signing Fousseni Diabate, Japanese superstar Shinji Okazaki and Jamie Vardy.
Islam Slimani had built up a strong relationship with new West Ham midfielder Joao Mario when they were both playing for Sporting Lisbon.
I expect one first team player to leave (Ayew) and a few academy players on loan. Coming in we have around 10 bids of which I would expect about 2 to join. (Slimani in talks now) Of course anything can happen and I’ll do my best to keep you up to date around my regular job ⚒

According to other sources close to WestHamWorld.co.uk, West Ham could once again make a last minute approach to try and sign William Carvalho before the window closes. T
The Portuguese midfielder was subject of a complicated bid in the last few days of the summer window, which was rightfully rejected by Sporting Lisbon. Tensions grew between the respective club owners and the “dildo brothers” comment was born. Despite the exchanges between the owners, they finally reconciled, shook hands and decided to rebuild their relationship.
The offer in the summer wasn’t the best way to make an approach for a player of the highest quality, but David Sullivan could give it another go with a firm and realistic offer.
