West Ham United are keen to add attacking players to their squad this summer and have been searching for possible targets.

Their search has now led them to Arsenal and the Hammers could be about to launch a sensational £50m double swoop for Olivier Giroud and Theo Walcott this summer, according to an exclusive report by The Daily Star.

Arsenal could be tempted to part ways with these two for a sizeable fee but Arsene Wenger is reluctant to dispense with attackers until he signs one or learns the future of Alexis Sanchez.

West Ham, however, are ready to splash the cash to land this duo.

Olivier Giroud is seen as a perfect target because of his aerial ability and goal scoring record.

The France international has scored 69 Premier League goals in his four seasons at Arsenal and fits the bill for the Hammers.

Theo Walcott also fits the profile of a player West Ham need.

The Hammers are supposedly looking for a pacey forward and the sporadic England international can provide genuine speed and goals too, although his performances can be inconsistent.

West Ham are ready to spend big money on bringing these two players to the London Stadium with Arsenal willing to sell if they find replacements.
