West Ham United are prepared to sell Javier Hernandez for the right price, according to reports.

Sky Sports News is reporting that West Ham will listen to offers for Hernandez this month.

Hernandez arrived at West Ham this summer from Bayer Leverkusen for £16m but the marquee signing has failed to live up to expectations due to a lack of service, loss of form and a few injury concerns.

The Mexico international has only netted four times for West Ham this season and has been used predominantly as an impact substitute since David Moyes took over from Slaven Bilic as West Ham manager.

The former Manchester United international’s last goal was back in October.

With Diafra Sakho expected to be sold, West Ham would be left with Andy Carroll as the only senior striker if Hernandez also departs this month.

Andre Ayew – who is also available for sale at the right price – is another forward who could be set for the exit door as Moyes looks to put his own personal stamp on this squad.

If Sakho and Hernandez do leave, Moyes could swoop for Russian captain Fyodor Smolov, who is linked with a £15m move to the London Stadium after stating his desire to complete this move.
