The pressure is rising on Graham Potter as his West Ham side slumped to yet another defeat at the weekend.
The Hammers were beaten 2-1 by Crystal Palace, a result that leaves them 19th in the Premier League table with just three points from five games.
Beyond the bright sparks of Lucas Paquetá and El Hadji Malick Diouf, there has been little for supporters to shout about — and now it appears the board are preparing to take drastic action.
According to insider reports, West Ham have already made contact with a potential replacement for Potter.
West Ham Make Offer to Espírito Santo

Trusted club source ExWHUEmployee revealed on The West Ham Way Patreon that West Ham are actively exploring a change in the dugout and have opened talks with Nuno Espírito Santo.
The Portuguese coach, described as “perfect” by former Premier League striker Darren Bent, was dismissed by Nottingham Forest earlier this year after clashing with controversial owner Evangelos Marinakis.
That decision raised eyebrows, with Nuno having just delivered Forest’s first European qualification in three decades.
“The leading contender at the moment appears to be Nuno Espírito Santo who recently left Nottingham Forest in a European spot,” Ex explained. “Talks have already been held with Karren Brady and David Sullivan we believe, and he is said to be considering the offer.”
However, negotiations may not be straightforward.
Ex added: “Nuno would expect a long-term contract, but the board would prefer a shorter-term fix that could be reviewed in the summer. Whether the former Spurs manager would accept those terms is currently unknown, but he does appear close to agreeing a deal should Potter be sacked.”
For many fans, this would be a hugely positive move. Nuno’s track record with Wolves and Forest shows his ability to stabilise and elevate mid-table clubs into genuine European contenders.
