West Ham’s season has been a rollercoaster so far.
After a difficult start under Graham Potter, Nuno Espirito Santo’s arrival has brought some optimism, though the team is still struggling to consistently create and convert chances.
With the January transfer window approaching, the manager is reportedly looking to bring in players who can add pace, power, and direct attacking threat—qualities that have been in short supply this season.
One name now linked with a potential move to East London is Adama Traore, the Fulham winger who enjoyed a productive spell under Nuno at Wolves.
Nuno Wants Adama Traore Reunion

Former Hammers scout Mick Brown, who also spent time at Manchester United, told Football Insider that West Ham could back Nuno in bringing Traore to East London.
“Traore has always been a player who promises a lot and delivers little,” he said. “He’s got unbelievable pace and power, even if the end product doesn’t match that, and that’s something which can be an asset for any team.”
“There are obviously concerns that he doesn’t score or assist enough, but Nuno knows him and has worked with him before, so he’ll know all about that,” Brown added.
“He likes to have direct wingers who are willing to run at their man and drag the team up the pitch on the counter attack, and that’s what Traore would bring.”
The 29-year-old, out of contract at the end of the season, could become available either in January or next summer.
“It wouldn’t surprise me at all to see him make that move to play under Nuno again,” Brown said.
Traore’s pace, power, and counter-attacking threat could provide the spark West Ham need to climb away from the Premier League relegation zone.
