He may not have had many first team opportunities since signing for us last summer, but Diego Poyet already knows what it takes to be loved by us West Ham fans.
The youngster tweeted a good luck message to his former Charlton teammates for their game against Millwall last week.
A Millwall fan tweeted him back with the hashtag #YoullNeverBeatMillwall, and he probably thought he had the last laugh after Millwall won that game 2-1.
But they were relegated to League One last night after Rotherham beat Reading 2-1, and young Diego took no time at all in having the last laugh with the cocky Lion.
With just a simple crying with laughter face and a thumbs up, Poyet publicly laughed in the face of this Millwall and probably all the others who are suffering the sheer pain of relegation to English football’s third tier this morning.
