West Ham have made a fresh £32m bid for Lyon striker Alexandre Lacazette, according to gianlucadimarzio.com.

The Hammers are in the market for a marquee striker signing this summer and had a £31m bid for the 25-year-old rejected by Lyon last month.

But reports that Ligue 1 giants Paris Saint-Germain were also interested in the striker led to the Hammers supposedly giving up their pursuit for him.

However, it is now being reported that the club have returned with another monumental bid for Lacazette, with some reports claiming PSG are losing interest in signing him.

The report by gianlucadimarzio.com says that the ball is now firmly in Lyon’s court and they’re are now weighing up whether they should accept the Hammers’ fresh approach.

Get French Football News claimed last month that Lacazette would only be willing to leave Lyon this summer for a club competing in the Champions League, but West Ham clearly believe that they can convince him to come to the Olympic Stadium.

Lacazette netted 23 goals for Lyon last season and is valued at £22.5m by transfermarkt.com.
