West Ham’s season so far has offered little to celebrate.
Sitting 19th in the Premier League, the club has struggled both offensively and defensively, prompting a managerial change from Graham Potter to Nuno Espirito Santo.
While a few positives have emerged — El Hadji Malick Diouf’s electrifying displays at left-back and Jarrod Bowen’s steady goal supply of three strikes — Lucas Paquetá has quietly been another bright spot.
The Brazilian midfielder has looked closer to his best form, netting three goals and shaking off the shadow of past off-field controversies.
Despite being highly valued by Nuno and likely central to West Ham’s plans moving forward, it seems even Paquetá has a price.
West Ham Name Paquetá Price

According to Hammers News, West Ham have set their asking price for Paquetá at around £60 million, a figure that would nearly double the fee paid to Lyon in 2022.
Hammers News chief football correspondent Graeme Bailey explained that while both club and player are on the same page — neither keen on a mid-season move — circumstances could change if the right offer arrives.
“West Ham have issues in terms of having to raise funds to buy, so that does mean that inevitably the big names and most sellable assets are going to be linked,” Bailey said.
“Paquetá is not looking to leave and West Ham not looking to sell,” he added. “But if someone comes in with this asking price, which is around £60 million I am told, then, yeah, he could go.”
A sale of Paquetá – previously described as “incredible” by former boss David Moyes – would be a significant blow for West Ham, removing one of their most technically gifted and influential players, but the financial gain could help fund January reinforcements.
