Swansea City.

Our final game at the Boleyn Ground will be against Swansea City. Now we know who our opponents will be that day it’s become even more real that we’re leaving. May 7 is going to be one hell of a party.

Slaven Biliic faces a tough opening Premier League fixture as West Ham boss, with a trip to Arsenal on the horizon, while his first league game at the Boleyn Ground will be against Leicester City.

Our first seven league fixtures of the season are pretty decent, though it’s the home fixtures where we’ll pick up most of the points – hopefully.

Away trips to Arsenal, Liverpool and Man City and home meetings with Leicester, Bournemouth, Newcastle and Norwich ensure we’ll have a testing, yet comfortable first couple of months of the campaign.

Once we’ve got those games out of the way we should have a very good idea of where we are under Bilic. The away games will be the testing ones, obviously, but we’ve got end that 50+ year winless run at Anfield some time.

Here’s how the fans reacted to the fixture announcement…
