Swansea City.
Our final game at the Boleyn Ground will be against Swansea City. Now we know who our opponents will be that day it’s become even more real that we’re leaving. May 7 is going to be one hell of a party.
Slaven Biliic faces a tough opening Premier League fixture as West Ham boss, with a trip to Arsenal on the horizon, while his first league game at the Boleyn Ground will be against Leicester City.
Our first seven league fixtures of the season are pretty decent, though it’s the home fixtures where we’ll pick up most of the points – hopefully.
Away trips to Arsenal, Liverpool and Man City and home meetings with Leicester, Bournemouth, Newcastle and Norwich ensure we’ll have a testing, yet comfortable first couple of months of the campaign.
Once we’ve got those games out of the way we should have a very good idea of where we are under Bilic. The away games will be the testing ones, obviously, but we’ve got end that 50+ year winless run at Anfield some time.
Here’s how the fans reacted to the fixture announcement…

Given that we’d have been playing in the Europa League before Arsenal away, I’d say we’ll be more than ready to cause an upset. #COYI

The fact West Ham’s final home game at the Boleyn Ground doesn’t land on my wedding day is a relief. #COYI

The first three away games aren't such a bad thing. Not expecting to get anything so any points are a bonus

@davidgold I would quite happily pay to watch a big screen at the Boleyn for the last game of the season. It it something you'd consider?

I'm literally prepared to sell even reggie for a ticket to the last game. Nothing will stop me being there
