West Ham have wasted no time on the transfer market this summer, already signing four new players and showing no signs of stopping.

Manuel Pellegrini secured his first midfield addition earlier this week with the arrival of Jack Wilshere on a free transfer from Arsenal and is now reported to have targeted another experienced addition.

The Sun claims West Ham are the latest Premier League side to join the hunt for World Cup finalist Steven N’Zonzi, who could leave Sevilla this summer if his £35m release clause is met.

Arsenal, led by N’Zonzi’s former boss in Andalusia Unai Emery, are currently ranked as the favourites to secure the services of the France international but Tottenham and Everton are both in the hunt for the combative midfield ace.

The 29-year-old has experience in the Premier League, previously representing Blackburn Rovers and Stoke City, and has excelled in Spain with Sevilla – winning the Europa League in 2015-16.
