Preparations already seem to be underway for the upcoming summer transfer window at West Ham with plenty of players being linked with moves in the past few weeks.
Although survival is not yet guaranteed, the Hammers are just one win away from securing their status as a Premier League side next season.
Looking ahead to the summer, West Ham United have identified Rachid Ghezzal as a possible transfer target, according to The Daily Star.
Currently plying his trade in the French top division with Lyon, Ghezzal will be available on a free transfer in the summer.
Monaco and Everton are also keen on the Algerian international but West Ham have pressed ahead in their attempts to win the race for Ghezzal.
The 24-year-old was reportedly a target for the Irons last summer but now Slaven Bilic is keen to land his man.
Ghezzal, who is rated at £5.95m by transfermarkt.com, has helped Lyon to reach the semi-finals of the Europa League but their hopes of reaching the final were dashed last night when they lost 4-1 to Ajax.
Lyon are currently fourth in Ligue 1 but cannot mathematically finish any higher so they might lose star man Ghezzal this summer with the prospect of the Premier League said to be interesting the forward.
