West Ham’s struggles in front of goal this season have been glaring.
With the Hammers languishing in the relegation zone, failing to find the net regularly has left Nuno Espírito Santo under pressure to strengthen his attack in the January window.
If the club doesn’t address their scoring issues, the threat of a serious relegation battle looms large.
Now, it seems West Ham could be turning their attention to a familiar face in the Premier League to solve their problems.
West Ham Interested in Ivan Toney

According to Football Insider, West Ham are considering a loan move for England international Ivan Toney in January.
The striker, currently at Al-Ahli, could be open to a Premier League return to boost his chances of permanently reclaiming a spot in the national squad.
Former West Ham senior scout Mick Brown, speaking exclusively to Football Insider, confirmed that Toney’s potential availability has alerted the Hammers ahead of the winter transfer window.
“Ivan Toney is definitely on West Ham’s radar,” Brown said. “We know they’re going to need a striker because the ones they’ve got aren’t good enough.”
He added: “If he’s going to be available on loan, it’s certainly something they’ll be looking at because it seems they might not have too much money to spend on permanent moves. So to get a striker like Toney in on loan, with the qualities he brings, they’d have to consider it.”
Described as “dangerous” by Manchester City boss Pep Guardiola, Toney scored 20 Premier League goals for Brentford in the 2022/23 season before moving to Saudi Arabia in 2024, where he has continued to score at an impressive rate.
Securing a player of Toney’s quality would be a major boost for West Ham’s struggling attack, though his wages could present a challenge for the London club.
