West Ham’s need to bolster their forward lines has been obvious throughout the season but not everyone is happy with some transfer links.
A wealth of names have been mentioned as potential targets for the Hammers this summer but recent comments from manager Slaven Bilic, where he praised Liverpool striker Daniel Sturridge, have intensified rumours the England international move to the London Stadium.
Sturridge’s injury record is a concern to an array of supporters, who seem to think there is much better alternatives available- even though he’d be useful when he remains fit.
Since pushing Liverpool close to the Premier League title a few seasons ago, Sturridge’s luck hasn’t been great and he’s missed the majority of Jurgen Klopp’s tenure in charge at Anfield.
Fans took to social media to discuss the possibility of signing Sturridge, with the vast majority not at all impressed with the links and urging their side to reconsider their stance.

Given his injury record I hope we only sign Sturridge IF Sakho is sold & we sign 2 other Strikers. Maybe Defoe on a free, Batshuayi on loan.

What's the point of signing another injury prone striker who will only play a handful of games each year @davidgold @ClaretandH
