West Ham fans are desperate to see their side improve in the summer transfer window, particularly in attacking areas.
The Hammers were overly reliant on club-record signing Marko Arnautovic last term, who scored 11 league goals in his debut campaign at the London Stadium and was crowned the club’s Player of the Year.
Arnautovic is in need of support though and reports have suggested he could be reunited with former Stoke City team-mate Xherdan Shaqiri, who has confirmed he will leave the Potters after their relegation from the Premier League.
Said to be available for just £12m due to a release-clause in his contract, West Ham are not alone in their pursuit of the Switzerland international as it’s also stated Southampton and Tottenham are also keen.
