So Matt Jarvis has left the club permanently and it seems most West Ham fans are delighted.
Norwich completed a £2.5m deal to make his loan deal permanent earlier today, which means we’ve made around a £6m loss on the winger.
Sam Allardyce told us he’d forked out a club record fee for him in the summer of 2012 because he was statistically the best crosser of the ball in the Premier League the season before.
Instead he failed to live up to expectations and ended up being a bit of a flop. On too many occasions did we see him run with his dead down towards the touchline before floating in a cross to the box, perfect for the opposing keeper to collect. Too. Many. Times.
Now it’s Norwich’s turn to experience such frustration at the hands of the former Wolves winger.
That said, we at West Ham World would like to wish Matt all the best for his new challenge at Norwich.
Here’s how the fans reacted to his departure…

I once saw Jarvis near a Zebra crossing in Chadwell Heath, slowed down to let him cross, but he couldn't, Wish him well at Norwich ⚒
