After what felt like an age for the club to announce, Joe Hart is officially a West Ham player.
England’s No.1 stopper and four-time Premier League golden glove winner has signed a one-year loan deal with what is believed to be an option to buy next summer.
The arrival of Hart certainly represents the kind of deal the club had promised us upon the move to London Stadium. A new era with better players, marquee signings and improved fortunes on the pitch.
Joe Hart should be the first many in that respect, while the addition of the experience Pablo Zabaleta on a free transfer back in May also represents fantastic business.
That two signings so far this summer with Premier League quality, both of which have won all there is to be won domestically, as well as competed at the highest level both at club level and internationally.
And of course, Hart and Zabaleta have both done all of that with Manchester City in years gone by. That fact led to one fan calling on the club to move on to two more high-profile Man City players next…
Ok that's hart and zabaleta. Announce aguero and de Bruyne

And here’s how the rest of the fans reacted to the arrival of Joe Hart this afternoon. It’s fair to say their buzzing with the news…
Joe Hart is a top signing for #WHUFC.
Better than Randolph (obvs) & Adrian.
Hopefully there is an option to buy.
