The summer is an exciting time for supporters, particularly in a World Cup year, but West Ham fans have had their attention courted by an annual event.
Gone are the days when clubs would alternate between unveiling a new home kit and a new away kit, which would last for two seasons, and Premier League sides now release at least three kits every year.
West Ham have now officially unveiled their home and away kits for the 2018/19 season, their third at the London Stadium, and fans on social media have reacted to the new look.
The home shirt, unsurprisingly, is claret and blue but the sleeves are mainly claret this year, with the blue saved for a trim around the bottom.
Meanwhile, the away kit is also looking smart with a darker tone but it’s difficult to look past the yellow socks – which have understandably courted attention.
