Another season has come to an end for West Ham and, after some concerns, Premier League football lies ahead for the next campaign.
The Hammers have struggled for consistency this season and face a crucial few months ahead but a number of players within the squad have impressed, earning praise from the fans.
While the likes of Javier Hernandez and Joao Mario have found things difficult in east London, veteran full-back Pablo Zabaleta has excelled since joining from Manchester City last summer.
The Argentina international will be eyeing success with his nation at this summer’s World Cup before returning to the London Stadium, where he’ll be hoping for better fortunes.
Zabaleta is one of few players who can hold their head high after their performances this season and fans were quick to praise the South American after he took to Twitter after the 3-1 victory over Everton on Sunday.
Thanking the fans for their support, responses flooded in thanking Zabaleta for his passion and dedication this season.
