Some West Ham United fans on Twitter are looking forward to Andriy Yarmolenko’s return to action next season.
This came after the club posted a video to commemorate the one-year anniversary 29-year-old winger’s arrival in east London from Borussia Dortmund.
The video featured funny interview clips from the big character’s time at London Stadium so far and his only two goals for the club as of yet, scored in the Premier League win at Everton last season.
They were both very easy-on-the-eye, the first being a fitting finish to an exquisite trademark Manuel Pellegrini team move and the second a curling effort from just inside the area.
And buzzing members of the Claret & Blue Army responded with messages of excitement about the 80-cap star’s 2019/2020 comeback.
Yarmolenko missed the rest of 2018/2019 after picking up an Achilles tendon rupture in October 2018 but is set to return to competitive action next month.

The wonderful injury curse of West Ham is that it’s like a bunch of new signings when they are finally fit the following year.
