West Ham have endured a difficult season and things seem to have taken a turn for the worse, as they now look set to lose a crucial player.

The Hammers have found some solstice in Michail Antonio’s storming performances this season but a hamstring injury has brought the 27-year-old’s campaign to a premature end.

It now seems that Antonio has played his last game for the Hammers too, as reports indicate his relationship with the board has soured following the club’s treatment of his injury and a disappointing contract offer presented to him.

Antonio, who’s current deal expires in 2020, was offered less than January signings Robert Snodgrass and Jose Fonte, which left the former Nottingham Forest man frustrated and seeking an exit.

Chelsea were linked to his services earlier in the season and could reignite their interest, as Antonio would slot in perfectly at wing-back in Antonio Conte’s preferred formation.

West Ham fans are far from pleased though, as they point the finger at Antonio, whilst others are furious with the board.
