Pablo Fornals took to social media after West Ham’s 4-0 victory over Norwich City on Sunday to congratulate his teammates.

A Said Benrahma brace, Michail Antonio tap-in and Manuel Lanzini penalty ensured the Hammers reacted in perfect fashion to their heartbreaking Europa League semi-final exit at the hands of Eintracht Frankfurt last Thursday night.

The result put David Moyes’ men five points clear of eighth-placed Wolves with just two games remaining, meaning just one point should be enough to secure European qualification for a second-consecutive season.

And Spain international, Pablo Fornals, was quick to applaud his teammates’ efforts in bouncing back from disappointment in such style, posting the below on his Instagram page shortly after the game.

Alongside photos of him in action at Carrow Road, Fornals posted: “+3! Well done lads.”

Since signing from Villarreal in June 2019, Fornals has made 128 first-team appearances for West Ham, scoring 16 goals and providing a further 14 assists.

Whatsmore, Fornals has made more appearances for West Ham in 2021/2022 than any other Hammers player, taking to the field no fewer than 52 times since the beginning of the campaign.
