West Ham will now be focusing on a busy summer transfer window following the conclusion of another disappointing campaign at the London Stadium.

The Hammers spent the majority of the season flirting with relegation and have plenty of work ahead of them if they’re to turn a corner and push back into the top-half of the Premier League.

Among the areas where the east London side will focus their attentions this summer is in midfield, where another Premier League target has reportedly emerged.

Foot Mercato claim the Hammers have identified Southampton’s Mario Lemina as a transfer target, following the impressive performances of the Gabon international this season.

24-year-old Lemina only arrived on the South Coast last summer, signing for Juventus, but has quickly caught the eye in English football – meaning West Ham are not alone in their interest.

Tottenham, Arsenal and Liverpool are also attributed with an interest in Lemina, who featured in 25 matches this season in the Premier League – scoring one goal and contributing one assist.
