West Ham are preparing a surprise move for Fenerbahce striker Moussa Sow, according to the Wharf.
The Senegal international’s future in Istanbul looks to be coming to an end after Robin van Persie’s arrival from Manchester United last week.
The Wharf claim Sow would be available for around £12million, which is believed to be in the Hammers’ price range for a striker.
Sow, 29, averaged one goal every two games for the Turkish giants last season and scored 25 for Lille as they surprisingly won Ligue 1 in 2011.

Slaven Bilic is in the market for another front man, with Andy Carroll still not fit enough to return to action and Modibo Maiga yet to impress during pre-season.
Bilic may be eying Sow as a serious option instead of QPR striker Charlie Austin, who is believed to be in a transfer tug-of-war between the Hammers and Newcastle.
Sow would undoubtedly hit the ground running in East London alongside compatriot Diafra Sakho, who enjoyed a successful maiden season in England last term.
Sow’s experience in Europe will also be seen as a bonus.
Here are some highlights of Sow in action…
