Reports in the Italian media have recently claimed that West Ham United and Inter Milan are locked in discussions over a potential swap deal.
According to Calcio Mercato, West Ham United defender Arthur Masuaku could be on his way to the Italian giants.
As part of the swap deal, West Ham would receive Inter Milan striker Eder.
With seven goals in forty six league games for Inter Milan, the Italian side are ready to offload the Brazilian born forward.
Previously of Sampdoria – for whom he scored in a friendly against West Ham – the Italian international is an experienced campaigner in Serie A.
However, signing the 30-year-old would be a risk as he has never played outside of Italy.
After an unimpressive eighteen months with Inter, they are ready to swap him for Arthur Masuaku.
Masuaku has been a revelation for West Ham this season, replacing Cresswell as the first choice left back.
The Frenchman only joined last summer from Olympiakos but has his admirers in Serie A with Roma also interested.
West Ham will be keen to keep Arthur Masuaku for next season but they do also need to sign a striker, with Eder one of their top previous targets.
