West Ham’s nightmare start to the 2025/26 season has piled the pressure on Graham Potter, with fans already calling for change after a string of damaging results.
The Hammers have shipped 11 goals in just four league matches, including heavy defeats to Sunderland, Chelsea, and Tottenham.
Supporters’ frustration has already boiled over, with multiple fan groups issuing a vote of no confidence in the club’s leadership.
Rumours of replacements have been swirling, with big names like Jose Mourinho, Nuno Espirito Santo, and Kieran McKenna all linked.
Now, however, a very familiar face could be in the frame.
West Ham Considering Bilic Reappointment

According to talkSPORT, Slaven Bilic is being considered for a shock return to West Ham should Potter be sacked.
Club owner David Sullivan is said to be weighing up whether to turn to Bilic, who remains a hugely popular figure among supporters after both playing for and managing the Hammers.
During his first stint in charge, Bilic guided West Ham to a memorable seventh-place finish in the Premier League, while overseeing the rise of Dimitri Payet, whose dazzling performances lit up the London Stadium.
Bilic himself recently reflected on the unique pressures of managing the club. Speaking after West Ham’s EFL Cup defeat to Wolves, he told talkSPORT: “It’s not easy. But there are clubs where it’s even more difficult. And to be fair, West Ham is one of those clubs.”
“West Ham is not the biggest club, of course, but it’s a very popular club,” he added. “It’s kind of a special club. The fans are very demanding. The media, the whole environment around West Ham is very demanding.”
Bilic’s experience could make him an attractive option for Sullivan and the board as they weigh their next move.
But his comments also suggest he knows the scale of the challenge and may not be rushing to step back into the hot seat.
For now, Potter clings onto the job — but with results worsening and fan unrest growing, the prospect of a Bilic reunion may not be far away.
