West Ham contemplating a move for Juventus midfielder Roberto Pereyra, as reported by Tuttosport.

The Argentine has struggled with injuries this season, which have limited him to just 14 appearances for the Serie A champions, and is one player Juve are hoping to offload this summer.

However, despite wanting him off their books, Juventus are reportedly looking to hold out for around £12million for him, while the Hammers are willing to pay as much as £10.2million.

Tuttosport, though, claim an agreement between the two clubs is still possible.

It is not yet known whether Pereyra would be open to a move to the Olympic Stadium, but he would arrive at the club with some familiar faces.

The midfielder will obviously know Angelo Ogbonna pretty well, with the Italian signing from Juventus just last summer, while he was also Manuel Lanzini’s team mate at River Plate earlier in his career.

The 25-year-old has made 67 first team appearances for Juventus, contributing six goals and five assists.

Transfermarkt.com value the player at £12.75m.
