Just when you thought beating Chelsea couldn’t get any better, David Gold pops up on Twitter with some superb ‘banter.’

Goals from Mauro Zarate and Andy Carroll handed us a memorable 2-1 home win over Chelsea on Saturday, lifting us in to second in the Premier League and laughing square in the faces of all those who told us to ‘be careful what you wish for’ after parting ways with Allardyce.

Chelsea’s high profile meltdown hit new levels at the Boleyn Ground on Saturday as Nemanja Matic was sent off, their coach was sent to the stands and then Jose Mourinho too after he entered the referee’s office at half-time. Absolute scenes.

The image of Mourinho’s poor little face in the director’s box as our board celebrated Carroll’s winner (above) is priceless, but good ol’ Dave just couldn’t resist having a pop as well.

He tweeted an image of Mourinho in front of all the West Ham mascots before the game, with the caption “Ok, who would like to play for Chelsea next week?”

Amazing. Well done, Dave, you just won the internet.
