Mirror Football journalist Matty Lawless is reporting that West Ham United have three “realistic” striker targets for this summer transfer window.

It is no secret that West Ham United are in the market for a new forward this summer.

With Andy Carroll and Diafra Sakho suffering persistent injuries, West Ham are looking to bring in at least one new striker to solve the longstanding crisis up top.

West Ham have been linked with a number of names, including Olivier Giroud, Javier Hernandez and Michy Batshuayi.

However, Matty Lawless has now revealed the three “realistic” targets for West Ham.

The list includes Burnley striker Andre Gray.

With the 26-year-old entering the final year of his contract at Turf Moor, he is a man in demand this summer.

West Ham are among the interested parties after he struck 9 goals for Burnley last season.

Cedric Bakambu is also a target.

The 26-year-old hit 11 goals in 35 appearances for Villarreal last season and could be tempted with a move to the Premier League.

The third “realistic” target is Kelechi Iheanacho of Manchester City.

The 20-year-old has been a target for the Hammers for several weeks now.

According to The Sun, West Ham are hoping to sign the Nigerian international for £25m, although Manchester City want a buy-back clause in his contract.
