West Ham are leading the race for Manchester City striker Kelechi Iheanacho.

It is understood that City will accept an £18m bid for the Nigerian, who has still managed to score seven goals in 29 cameo appearances for the club.

Pep Guardiola is looking to offload the youngster so he can invest in a new striker this summer.

Iheanacho is keen to move to another Premier League side and it is also believed that Tottenham Hotspur were keen,

However, Man City are reluctant to sell to a team that they consider a title contender, so anyone in the top six looking to acquire him are set to miss out.

Everton are also keen on the youngster and can offer Europa League football next season, but it looks like the Hammers are keen to secure the deal for the opening day of the transfer window.
