West Ham United have been linked with many strikers in this transfer window already and another reported target has emerged.

It is believed that West Ham are interested in signing TSG 1899 Hoffenheim striker Sandro Wagner this summer, according to German media outlet Bild.

West Ham United and Swansea City are interested in adding Wagner to their squad ahead of next season’s Premier League campaign.

The Hammers need a striker with Andy Carroll and Diafra Sakho’s injury woes.

If Wagner joins, they will be hoping that the 29-year-old can end the longstanding striker crisis.

Recently called up to the German national squad, Wagner is enjoying a fantastic season with Hoffenheim.

The 6’4” powerful forward has scored 11 goals and grabbed 4 assists as Hoffenheim qualified for the Champions League.

Wagner could stay with Hoffenheim to compete in next season’s Champions League but he has options in England if he fancies testing himself in a new environment.

The former Bayern Munich academy product has played for MSV Duisburg, Werder Bremen, Kaiserslautern, Hertha Berlin, SV Darmstadt 98 and Hoffenheim in his career but has never played outside of Germany.
