For the umpteenth window in a row, West Ham United have been linked with a move for Davide Santon.

According to media reports in Italy, Davide Santon is attracting interest from West Ham and another Premier League club.

An exclusive report by Italian media outlet Tutto Mercato Web is suggesting that West Ham United and Crystal Palace will compete to sign the Inter Milan defender this summer.

Davide Santon has Premier League experience as he spent three seasons with Newcastle United in the top flight, playing 82 games and scoring 1 goal in that time.

Predominantly an attack-minded left back, Santon has also been known to play at right back or as a wing back.

Tutto Mercato Web believe that West Ham and Crystal Palace could make bids in the next few weeks with Santon set to leave Inter Milan.

The 26-year-old only managed to make 15 appearances for the Italian Serie A side this season and could move away for regular game time with Crystal Palace and West Ham looming.

However, with Pablo Zabaleta and Sam Byram at right back and Arthur Masuaku and Aaron Cresswell at left back, it is unlikely that this rumour will come to fruition unless one of these players leaves.
