Pablo Fornals says West Ham will “keep going” after failing to beat a struggling Leicester City side on Sunday afternoon.
The Hammers went into this game knowing victory would give them a three-point cushion over fifth-placed Manchester United in the race to finish in the top four. But they were forced to settle for a point after Craig Dawson’s 91st-minute equaliser.
Fornals was unable to make a positive impact on the Hammers’ performance and was uncharacteristically quiet throughout, before being replaced by Nikola Vlasic in the 79th-minute.
The Spaniard took to Instagram after the game to reveal his disappointment with only managing to take a point back to east London but insisted he and his teammates will keep going in the fight to qualify for next season’s Champions League.
He posted: “Not what we wanted but we saved a point in the last moment!! We keep going.”

Fornals has scored five goals and assisted another four in 34 first-team appearances for West Ham this season.
